Dragon Blood Peacock Cichlid (Aulonocara sp.)
The origin of these Hybrid African Cichlids are unknown. Nonetheless, the Intense coloration of these Dragon Blood Peacocks, make a stunning display piece in any African Cichlid community. Color in the juvenile size of Dragon Bloods, may not be as bright, but will develop a tremendous amount as they mature. Classified as Aggressive, they should be kept with similar tempered Aulonocaras or Synodontis Catfish.
How to Acclimate Your Fish
Allow the sealed bag to float in your aquarium for approximately 15–20 minutes to equalize the temperature. Open the bag and gradually add small amounts of aquarium water over the next 15–20 minutes. Gently transfer the fish into the aquarium.
Important: Do not pour shipping water into your aquarium. Turn off aquarium lights and allow your new fish time to adjust to its new environment.
