Native to the rocky and open sandy regions of Lake Malawi, the Milomo Cichlid is an ambush predator that thrives in aquariums with plenty of hiding spaces, such as rock structures, and ample swimming areas. Its active nature and unique behaviors make it a captivating addition to cichlid communities.

How to Acclimate Your Fish

Allow the sealed bag to float in your aquarium for approximately 15–20 minutes to equalize the temperature. Open the bag and gradually add small amounts of aquarium water over the next 15–20 minutes. Gently transfer the fish into the aquarium.

Important: Do not pour shipping water into your aquarium. Turn off aquarium lights and allow your new fish time to adjust to its new environment.
