Silver Arowanas require a large, secure aquarium with excellent filtration and plenty of unobstructed swimming space. They are powerful jumpers, so a tight-fitting aquarium lid is essential.
Because Silver Arowanas grow large, plan for their adult size before purchasing. A juvenile may look small initially but can grow rapidly with proper nutrition and water quality.
Maintain stable water conditions and perform regular water changes to keep the aquarium clean and healthy.

Allow the sealed bag to float in your aquarium for approximately 15–20 minutes to equalize the temperature. Open the bag and gradually add small amounts of aquarium water over the next 15–20 minutes. Gently transfer the fish into the aquarium.
