Mayan butterfly koi has vibrant colorations and elongated fins that flow through the water. They are yellow and black color. Their fins resemble the wings of butterflies, which is how they got their name. This variation is the a short body type. 

How to Acclimate Your Fish

Allow the sealed bag to float in your aquarium for approximately 15–20 minutes to equalize the temperature. Open the bag and gradually add small amounts of aquarium water over the next 15–20 minutes. Gently transfer the fish into the aquarium.

Important: Do not pour shipping water into your aquarium. Turn off aquarium lights and allow your new fish time to adjust to its new environment.
