Painted Fire Red Shrimp are peaceful, active scavengers that spend much of their day grazing on biofilm, algae, and leftover food. Their small size makes them an excellent choice for planted aquariums, shrimp tanks, and peaceful nano setups.

Deep Red Coloration

Under suitable conditions, Painted Fire Red Shrimp can reproduce readily in freshwater aquariums without requiring a separate saltwater or brackish larval stage. A well-established shrimp colony can gradually increase in size when provided with stable water conditions, adequate food, and protection for young shrimp.

How to Acclimate Your Fish
Allow the sealed bag to float in your aquarium for approximately 15–20 minutes to equalize the temperature. Open the bag and gradually add small amounts of aquarium water over the next 15–20 minutes. Gently transfer the fish into the aquarium.
Important: Do not pour shipping water into your aquarium. Turn off aquarium lights and allow your new fish time to adjust to its new environment.
