Cryptocoryne Wendtii Green Gecko is a perfect choice for beginners due to its hardiness and ability to grow in a wide range of planted aquarium tank parameters. Cryptocoryne Wendtii Green Gecko's coloration depends on its environment and has the potential to present varying shades of green. Like most Cryptocoryne species, Crypt. Wendtii Green Gecko grows at a slow rate and is relatively undemanding in care

   The coloration is mainly a result of the intensity of light it receives. Low light will keep it green with a bit of bronze leaves and some maroon colored veins in the green leaves. The magic happens once this AMAZING plant establishes a strong root system on a nutrient rich soil and it’s given with a nice medium to high light. The plant will require CO2 in a high light set up, but it will develop red veins leaking from the center of the leaf.

   This is also a self propagating plant, that can be managed through clipping of the runners. Place the runners in the new desired area or in a separate tank to develop a whole new plant.

How to Acclimate Your Fish

Allow the sealed bag to float in your aquarium for approximately 15–20 minutes to equalize the temperature. Open the bag and gradually add small amounts of aquarium water over the next 15–20 minutes. Gently transfer the fish into the aquarium.

Important: Do not pour shipping water into your aquarium. Turn off aquarium lights and allow your new fish time to adjust to its new environment.
