Valisneria is a hardy plant that needs nutrient-rich substrate, moderate to high light, and no CO2. Avoid burying it too deep, excessive flow, liquid carbon, and overgrowth. Straight Vals are unique types of vals characterized by the straight vertical leaves. They act as the perfect background plants, growing tall and fast to create a jungle like appearance. Vals are grass like plants that spread along side shoots and can grow to the height of your aquarium. They are nutrient loving plants that anchor deep into the substrate.

Float the sealed bag in the aquarium for approximately 15–20 minutes to equalize temperature.
Open the bag and gradually introduce small amounts of aquarium water over the next 15–20 minutes.
