Tank Requirements
Arowanas are notorious jumpers. A heavy, tightly secured tank lid is mandatory to prevent accidents. Because they swim primarily at the top of the water column, prioritize tank footprint (length and width) over depth to give them ample turning room.
Diet & Nutrition
To keep their immune system strong and their scales shimmering, feed a varied high-protein diet. While they love live food, we highly recommend training your Albino Arowana on high-quality floating pellets, gut-loaded insects, and frozen krill to avoid introducing parasites to your tank.
Filtration & Water Quality
As large predatory fish, Arowanas produce a heavy bioload. Pristine water quality is crucial to prevent "cloudy eye" and "hole-in-the-head" disease. We recommend heavy canister or sump filtration, alongside weekly 25–30% water changes.
How to Acclimate Your Fish
Allow the sealed bag to float in your aquarium for approximately 15–20 minutes to equalize the temperature. Open the bag and gradually add small amounts of aquarium water over the next 15–20 minutes. Gently transfer the fish into the aquarium.
Important: Do not pour shipping water into your aquarium. Turn off aquarium lights and allow your new fish time to adjust to its new environment.
