(PT-005)Anubias Coffeefolia - Pot

   Anubias Coffeefolia in our picture is shown as a bare root plant, but it is sold in a pot presentation. These particular Anubias show very unique characteristics when compared to other Anubias. It is easily identified for the following characteristics. It dark Green Oval leaves with pronounced wavy texture. It receives its name from the light brown Coffee with milk color in the newly developing leaves. 

   Low to Medium light is favorable for this Anubias. It can successfully be grown in a high-tech planted aquarium, but it is best placed on the shaded areas of the tank. this will help prevent green spot algae as it is indeed a slow growing plant.

     Propagation for this species is done easily by cutting the Rhizome with a new sharp blade or X-Acto knife. The pieces can then be attached to a piece of rock or wood. they seem to attach to wood faster as it is softer and porous.
