As like many other Cryptocoryne species, the Hudoroi is no different in care. It is a great Plant to add and easy splash of colors even if it is not placed in a High-Tech set up with Carbon Injection. It will develop broad colorful leaves as it matures in your substrate.
The light requirements for this beautiful Brown/Red Cryptocoryne is not highlight, it will color up just well in a Mid-Tech environment. A high tech tank create an explosive growth, accompanied by fast brighter colors.
This self propagating plant will shoot runners when it’s time to expand from the mother plant. You can either manipulate its direction by clipping the runner and placing it in your desired location, or simply place it in another tank to control it in the main tank.
