Rotala Macandra Mini is a smaller form of tge original Macandra. Round leaves grow horizontally on the tall stems and can create a dazzling effect when grown in thick bushes. The appearance of this Rotala, is quite different compared to most others of the same species.
Rotala Macandra ‘Mini’ does better in a well lit tank supplied with Carbon Dioxide. This plant is a great light intensity indicator: Green is lowlight, Bronze is mid light, Red is highlight.
Propagating Rotala is like any other stem plant, simply cut the stem and replant.
