Dracaena trifasciata, or snake plant, is a low-maintenance evergreen with upright, sword-shaped leaves, often banded in gray-green with potential yellow edges. It's drought-tolerant, prefers bright, indirect light but tolerates low light, and needs well-draining soil with infrequent watering. Known for air purification, it's mildly toxic if ingested. Easy to care for and aesthetically pleasing.
