This unique loach is admired for its bold black banding, elongated high dorsal fin, and constant activity along the bottom of the aquarium. Its eye-catching appearance and peaceful temperament make it an excellent addition to community aquariums, especially those with other active freshwater species.
Hi Fin Banded Loaches are social fish that enjoy the company of their own kind and spend much of their day exploring, foraging, and interacting with their environment. They thrive in well-oxygenated aquariums with plenty of hiding places, smooth rocks, driftwood, and open swimming areas.

Please Note: As live fish, each Hi Fin Banded Loach is unique. Juveniles display bold vertical bands that may gradually fade as the fish matures into adulthood.
How to Acclimate Your Fish
Allow the sealed bag to float in your aquarium for approximately 15–20 minutes to equalize the temperature. Open the bag and gradually add small amounts of aquarium water over the next 15–20 minutes. Gently transfer the fish into the aquarium.
Important: Do not pour shipping water into your aquarium. Turn off aquarium lights and allow your new fish time to adjust to its new environment.
