The Yellow Melon Discus sports yellow throughout the bod, leaving the face a pale white color. This combination of color is what gives these Discus its name. Yellow Melon Discus are a popular choice to bring in a lot of color and brightness into a discus community.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: When Discus are given the best healthy, correct environment, they reach their most vibrant colors as MATURE ADULTS. This happens once they are 5-6" inches.
How to Acclimate Your Fish
Allow the sealed bag to float in your aquarium for approximately 15–20 minutes to equalize the temperature. Open the bag and gradually add small amounts of aquarium water over the next 15–20 minutes. Gently transfer the fish into the aquarium.
Important: Do not pour shipping water into your aquarium. Turn off aquarium lights and allow your new fish time to adjust to its new environment.
