Osmanthus heterophyllus 'Goshiki' is a popular cultivar of the Holly Osmanthus, also known as Goshiki Holly Osmanthus or Five-Colored Osmanthus.
It's a compact, slow-growing evergreen shrub prized for its striking variegated foliage. The name "Goshiki" translates to "five colors" in Japanese, referring to the beautiful array of colors displayed on its leaves.
The leaves emerge in shades of pink and bronze, gradually maturing into a captivating mix of green, gold, and cream variegations. This unique foliage makes it a standout choice for adding visual interest to gardens and landscapes.
Goshiki Holly Osmanthus is relatively easy to care for, thriving in well-drained soil and partial shade. It's a versatile plant that can be used as a low hedge, accent shrub, or even grown in containers.
